Tonight WAS the night.........................

“…..tonight was the night…” for the Fookies to meet up for food, drinks and laughter; and of course it was the night to celebrate 4th Fookie’s birthday! The night was just filled with happiness and laughter – that is the distinct characteristic of a Fookies’ gathering!

We celebrated her birthday in Zen, Sunway Pyramid. We ordered quite a bit of food, and we whacked them once they were served. Here are the photos of the dishes that I managed to capture whilst the rest of the dishes almost disappeared after being served to the table after a few minutes.

As usual, we updated each other with the recent happenings since our last gathering. It was really awesome to share stories. We also discussed about our BIG event at the end of the year…………

Here are some shots to tell the story of how we celebrated 4th Fookie’s birthday.

First, there was a small cake.


Then, 4th Fookie made a wish and cut it.

Thirdly, it was all shared out.

The cake was yummy yum yum……

9.30pm, we quickly called for the bill and scooted to FOS to check out ‘our’ design line.

It was specifically designed based on .....(this have to ask the designer). I think it is the way we smile or laugh. Let me introduce you to the Fookies.

The Beginning......

Despite having a wet morning today, it was ‘warm’ and all cheery inside Pappa Rich at SS15.

We shared the joy of the official opening of Pappa Rich. We were there at 9am and it was our very first breakfast together. The verandah and most of the empty spaces were filled with beautiful bouquets. I think it was around 10ish that the flowers we ordered was delivered.

It was signed off from: Fookies Inc and a few other names….

Fookies Inc....looking at the flowers....We were chatting and an idea popped up in my mind. I thought it would be great to have a blog of Fookies Inc. It will contain our outings, happenings and etc. It will be OUR blog. So, later in the day, http://www.fookiesinc.blogspot.com/ was created.

I lepakked at the shop till around noon time; met a couple of old friends and later I made a move. I had some work to complete. By the time I was done, it was almost 3pm. I headed back to Pappa Rich and ordered the curry noodles. Hmm….yummy! I like! We continued with our chat and had endless laughter till 6.30pm.

I excused myself as I needed to be home for dinner with my family.

That was how I spent my Sunday and it was definitely one of those great ones!
